Message from the Upazila Executive Officer
Chandnaish is a naturally rich upazila. The beautiful conch river flows through the southern and western ends of the upazila. Several unions including Dohazari and Dhopachhari have hills and rich forests. The sanctuary of Dhopachhari has innumerable deer and birds of different colors, styles and voices. There are vast crops on the plains, and the villages are nests of shade and peace. Many meritorious people have been born in this upazila.
The upazila is famous for its delicious guavas. Everyone says that there is no other place in Bangladesh that is as delicious as the guava of Chandnaish.
