Review of relief and rehabilitation work in the upazila.
Approval of work plan and estimate to be implemented by Upazila Parishad.
Review, monitor and evaluate the progress of all types of development work implemented.
Review the implementation of all decisions taken by the council.

Citizen Services: Upazila Parishad consists mainly of Upazila Education Office, Upazila Agriculture Office, Local Government Engineering Department, Upazila Social Service Department, Upazila Cooperative Department, Upazila Youth Development Office, Upazila Rural Development Office, Upazila Project Implementation Office, Upazila Fisheries Office, Upazila Women's Affairs Department etc. Through almost all kinds of civic services.
